Autenticity You will find that we demand a high standard of ourselves and others concerning autenticity. If you want to use your own medieval clothes and eqipment, you must know, that we only accept period stuff, that is copies and replicas of things from around 1397. Materials and sewing tecniques etc. must be as authentic as possible. However we can provide you with all the nessesary equipment, clothes, shoes etc. Modern things like glasses, modern jewellery, make-up, vicible piercings, vicible tattooes etc are not allowed. Neither is bringing coffee, cigarettes, modern tools or anything not medieval into the medieval town. |

Becoming volunteer at the Medival Centre Courses To become a volunteer at the Medieval Centre you have to got rough a beginners course, where you will get a basic knowledge of the medieval age and learn to act in the medieval town of Sundkøbing. On the courses your will be introduced to communication, history, the art of living i the medieval houses, clothing, etc. Moreover, you have to be a member of our support group: ”Guldborgsundgildet.” When you have finished the course, you will be most welcome you join us at the medieval centre. It is free, you are given food to prepare and you will live in the medieval houses, typically a week from saturday morning to friday afternoon. NB!
