Season 2023 is all about trebuchet building and in week 27 (1-7 July) we focus on trebuchets, the great siege machines of the Middle Ages. 

 

We have assembled a team of the best historical craftspeople who will work together to build a new trebuchet for the Medieval Center. Come and discover the crafts of the Middle Ages. See how the giant oak beams are carved with axes and learn about wood crafts through time.  Perhaps you can try your hand at the craft yourself?
