On the first weekend of Advent, the Medieval Center in Nykøbing Falster invites you to The Ultimate Christmas Market!
Here you’ll find plenty of inspiration for your Christmas table, gifts, and decorations. The cozy market stalls are filled with local goods such as decorations, handicrafts, and artwork. On the town square you can enjoy delicious Christmas treats – including mulled wine, Danish doughnuts (æbleskiver), rice pudding, and sausages – and at the Knight Svane’s Food Hut you’ll find even more festive delights.
Santa Claus himself will visit and stay in touch with his toy workshop in Greenland. He’s also bringing a couple of Christmas ponies, where children can enjoy a small ride for a symbolic fee. There will also be a Christmas competition and fun activities for children.
The Medieval Center’s historic houses form a beautiful backdrop for the market, decorated with spruce, lights, and traditional Danish Christmas hearts – creating a truly magical holiday atmosphere!

10.00 – The Christmas Market opens.
10.00 - 16.00 – Decorations, gifts, crafts, jewellery, etc. for sale in the stalls.
10.00 - 16.00 –Sale of warm drinks and food on the market square.
10.00 - 16.00 – Meet Santa in the Christmas town.
10.00 - 14.00 –Take part in this year's Christmas heart hunt.
11.30 and 14.30 – Santa tells Christmas stories in the Christmas hut.
14.00 – Drawing of this year's winner of the Christmas heart hunt.
16.00 – The Christmas Market closes.
Program Sunday
10:00 – The Christmas Market opens.
10:00 - 16:00 – Christmas decorations, gifts, handicrafts, jewellery, etc. for sale at the stalls.
10:00 - 16:00 – Coffee, tea, mulled wine, apple slices, sausages and rice pudding on sale in the square.
10:00 - 16:00 – Meet Santa Claus in the Christmas village or his Christmas cave.
10:00 - 14:00 – Take part in this year's Christmas heart hunt.
11:00 – Guldborgsund Music School gives a concert with Christmas songs in the square.
11:30 and 14:30 – Santa Claus tells Christmas stories in his cave.
11:30 – Guldborgsund Music School performs with guitar and choir in the foyer.
14:00 – Drawing of this year's winner of the Christmas heart hunt. The winner will be drawn in the square from among those
present.
15:00 – The Christmas Market closes.
