We are delighted to invite our guests to join us in celebrating the enchanting tradition of Sankt Hans Aften/midsummer’s eve. Prepare to immerse yourself in a day filled with captivating living history, bonfires, exciting knight’s tournaments, and joyous company.

The admission price after 16:00 is DKK 40 per person (Children 0-2 years — Free entrance).
Sankt Hans Aften holds a special place in Danish hearts, as it marks the longest day of the year. This cherished event embraces the old customs and legends of Denmark, bringing together families and friends.
🔥 Bonfire Extravaganza:
Join us as we gather around our majestic bonfire, symbolising the triumph of light over darkness. Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere with a range of activities for all ages: We have 2 knight’s tournaments during the day, and our medieval trebuchets will shoot with fireballs, a spectacle you don’t want to miss!

Food: At our café, you will find a selection of special dishes, and there will be a grill outside until 19:30.
It’s possible to take place and eat the food purchased at the Café inside the medieval inn, but please be aware that it’s not possible to reserve a table.

- Chicken meatballs with bread
- Traditional apple cake
- Almond cake
You can also bring your own picnic basket and enjoy your food in the Medieval Center.





















The countdown has started!
The first official shot with a fireball of the new trebuchet at the Medieval Center will be on midsummer's eve, or St. John's evening, the 23rd of June 2023.
